- 美國威斯康辛州議員近日提案，擬提高冤案平反者可獲得的補償金額。義大利人民提案希望改革補償制度，主張已獲無罪者可先領臨時生活補償，避免在等待期間（最長高達十年）陷入貧困。提案已突破5萬連署，國會須受理審議。
- 本週，奧克拉荷馬州最高刑事法院一致裁定，允許檢方在法庭上使用一種名為「BulletProof」的機率性基因型檢測技術，以推估被告是否為混合DNA樣本的來源之一。倡議團體警告，此類黑箱演算法有誤判風險，進而導致冤案。同時，在揭露州立鑑識實驗室過往方法瑕疵後，澳洲昆士蘭州通過修法，允許重新檢測的 DNA 證據作為再審「新證據」。
